1. Who we are

FLEG Private Limited ("FLEG", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website fleg.in and the FLEG sports-technology platform, which connects players, organizers, venues, and coaches for tournaments, runs, workshops, and other sporting events across Nagaland and India.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to fleg.in and related FLEG web services. By using our services, you agree to this Policy.

We process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. Information we collect

Account information: when you sign up or sign in, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account (only the basic profile and email scopes) to create and secure your FLEG account.

Event and registration information: when you register for an event, we collect details relevant to that event, which may include age, gender, category, college/semester, city or address, emergency contact, T-shirt size, a participant photo, and — for certain events — a document you upload as age proof (for example an Aadhaar or other ID). Optional fields, such as blood group, are clearly marked and may be left blank.

Payment information: paid registrations are processed by our payment processor, Razorpay. Your card, UPI, or bank details are entered on Razorpay's secure systems and are not stored by FLEG. We retain a record of the transaction (amount, status, and payment reference) to confirm your registration.

Guardian information: for events open to minors, a parent or guardian completes the registration and provides their own contact details and consent.

Usage and device information: like most websites, we automatically collect limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, and we use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the site.

3. How we use your information

To create and secure your account and authenticate your sign-in (including via Google).

To process event registrations and payments, issue passes or confirmations, and manage check-in.

To communicate with you about your registrations, events, schedules, results, and important service updates.

To operate, maintain, and improve the platform, and to keep it safe and free from fraud or abuse.

To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. How we share your information

Event organizers: when you register for an event, the relevant registration details are shared with the organizer of that event so they can manage participation, verify eligibility, and run the event.

Payment processor: Razorpay processes payments on our behalf and handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.

Service providers: we use trusted providers to host and run the platform (including Supabase for our database and authentication, and Google for sign-in). They may process data only on our instructions.

Legal and safety: we may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of FLEG, our users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Google user data

When you choose "Continue with Google", we access only your basic Google profile (name and profile picture) and email address, solely to create and secure your FLEG account. FLEG's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not share it except as described in this Policy.

6. Children and minors

Some FLEG events are open to minors (for example youth clinics and camps). For these, registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian, who provides consent on the minor's behalf. We collect only the information needed to run the event safely. If you believe a minor has provided us information without appropriate guardian consent, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, to maintain records of events and transactions, and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls and encryption in transit. Uploaded identity documents are stored privately and are accessible only to authorised organizers and administrators. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any incident.

9. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can also ask us to stop sending you non-essential communications. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
